screwed-up contract negotiation

Hi everyone,

I tried to contract a rider for next seasons but I failed, and now the status of the negotiation is: I do not want to discuss an eventual contract with you before next season. I tried to change this status using the Fast editor, i tried different settings in the contract_offer table but non of this works, does anyone no what I have to change in the savegame?

Hi Teun,
it may not be a very elegant way but you can just delete the contract offer with the editor and start the negotiation again.

Thanks for your answer, I tried that but when I start the new negotiation the rider shows the same status again

For me it works to delete the whole offer from the database (not just parts of it).

open your save with Fast Editor

cyclist:
last column( iContract_refusal_cooldown), delete1 set 0

0=you can negotiate with the rider
1=You can no longer negotiate with this rider

after this

Cyclist Contract Offer:
column State:
4 means offer accepted
6 means still in negotiation
8 means offer rejected (you can't negotiate with this rider this season)

Just applied your approach. I changed the status to 6, but for some season after loading te savegame in pcm the status is changing back to 8..
