Dominant win by Andy Schleck who was having a great post prime GT here. Dombroswki as runner-up was losing too much in the last week with Amador being a strong contender but losing out on one day then.
Lecuisinier as most consistent maybe getting a great 4th while Morton at 5th must be happy that Alarcon lost that much in TTs, he actually would have been the first challenger of Schleck.
Hirt also a promising start into the GT leadership ahead of a lately struggling Machado and the last days wonder Choi and Guldhammer to round up the top10.
Special mention as well to the Lanterne Rouge battle. Krieger was the last after the mountains but Archbold made it a nice challenge by dropping back on the final day. Though he was missing 1s! Both within the same time with Krieger keeping the title!

Final Points
A thrilling fight until the end here. Demare was having the lead for most of the Giro but missed out on the mountain dominator Schleck in the end! Just 2 points in between them though. Alarcon as best followed by Amador. Saber and Silvestre the only other sprinters in the top10 with Groenewegen being the one, that should have been around those spots as well when not only sprinting twice in the last week.

Final KoM
Basically for 17 days oreven 18 it looked like a crazy win from Vosekalns, who was attacking on all mountain stages but one iirc. On that one stage though Choi did win it all and passed him.
Both though far ahead of all others with Schleck also on the podium here.

Final U25
The U25 ranking in the end the most boring one. Quite fast Lecuisinier was away from the others. In the end almost 28min ahead of Cort Nielsen with Carapaz at 3rd being a disappointment as only showing up once for Alarcon as good support. Usually an early dropped rider.

Final Team
Good to see that this ranking was not really impacted by the late breakaway wins. Sure, Festina as 2nd had Chamorro in one of the big breaks but it`s Gazelle winning with their team depth. Not really far up in the individual ranking and neither in stage results but Bibby/Formolo/Kruisjwijk was a good trio for the mountains and better than e.g. Vesuvio with Schleck/Goos/Kirsch/Heymes as those riders had to work a lot more. Same with Bennelong and Smith/Bayly/Dyball.
