Stage 3: King City - Laguna Seca 195.1 km

We start in King City, a city almost located in the center of California on the banks of Salinas River, the town was originally founded by wheat farmer Charles King in the 1880’s.

We finish at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca (previously known as Mazda Raceway) part of Laguna Seca Recreation Area, the paved road racing track was built in 1957.
Laguna Seca refers to a nearby seasonal lake, originally known as “La Laguna Zeca” literally “the dry lake”

The rout is very hilly traveling alongside the Santa Lucia Mountain Range most of the day, especially the last 30 kilometers the climbs comes frequently clearly able to create some nasty caps in the peloton if the pace is fast enough.

It is a sunny day, with just a few clouds and wind speed at approx. 20 km/hour.

no favorite list for this stage sorry
