Ridiculous Effect of Team Index

Hi,

I have been slaving away for 5 years trying to get a Continental team to the World Tour.

Now in 2022 with Madison Genesis and finally get to 4 stars for the first time, and Mitchelton Bike Exchange somehow sign Sagan and Ben O'Connor, having had Zakarin and overtake me despite only having 8 riders, which is not enough for the world tour.

Does anybody else think PCM should change this ridiculous system?

I think they should change whatever system allows a team to have 8 riders and a) sign Sagan, O'Connor and Zakarin and b) promote to WT Pfft I don't mind the Team Index as a concept but I haven't got into a long-term career yet so I'm underqualified
