Is it possible? Because I just found out that I cant possibly survive with Bretagne's current budget, I dont want to gimmeself like 2 million but just enough to survive till December

You can change the budgets, transferbudget and salarycap of a team. I can only do it with Hannes convertor
hannes convertor:
1. download the basic convertor + patch for PCM 2007 from www.pcmdaily.com
2. intall the downloaded program
3. download the add-on convertor for pcm 2008
4. install this by copying the content into the hannes convertor directory
how to change budget, salary cap, transferbudget:
1. open your hannes convertor
2. load your database and select dyn_team ( make sure dyn_team is highlighted in grey)
3. open your loaded dyn_team file
4. find the team that you want to edit
5. when you found it move horizontaly
until you find:
1. finany_f_initial_amout: here you enter you amount you want to start the season with ( when already futher than one month the cost of the previous month wil be deducted from the amount you put in here)
2. finanm_f_initial_amount: enter the same figure as you did in finany_f_initial_amout
3. finan_f_allowed_BMSC: enter an amount, this will be the salary cap, so the amount you can spend on salary's (riders with who you start the season their salary's will be deducted from this amount as well)
4. finan_f_to_buy_cyclist: enter amount, this amount will decide how much you can spend on transfer fee's (nothing will be deducted from this amount normally, but it will change as from the following season, so you will have to change it again

ok and is this a safe method? Also, if so could someone else do it for me, I once edited a save game with Jape;s editor with pcm06 and I screwed up so bad that I had to reinstall the whole game, could something like this happen when I use this?

EDIT3: Mmm well, as said I dont really want a bunchload of money, just the salary increased with 2.000 euros and the budget, 800.000 euros should do it for sure so thats 600.000 added than to the 200.000 that I have now

Whatever Cyanide have done to the new finance system, it is a lot harder to change this year. I managed to up your salary cap, but for some reason it's gone up to 32,000. I put your budget up to 800,000 but it's gone down to 175,000

Savegame attached for you Justin. Sorry for the wait but the new finance system is not editing friendly, you don't just type the numbers in anymore. You have to type some in as a ballpark figure, then look ingame to see what it appears as, and change it accordingly.
What the guy posted, which I quoted above, is pure shit
Anyway, 800,000 budget and 2,000 salary cap is now yours

i wonder if jape will be making a 2008 savegame editor because it was very easy, my savegame is screwed and im surely going to get fired at the end of the season with a team of about 5 riders!!!!!

The editing of finances is all to cock this year. Basically you just keep adding a random number, seeing what it actually appears as in-game and changing accordingly. The number you edit it to, will not be the number that appears in-game, so you just have to keep changing it accordingly

I think for me when using Hannes converter when you go to save the DB you editing make sure to highlight (click on) the forms you changed. I remember the first two times after editing and saving a database nothing changed, but the 3rd time i made sure to highlight the dyn_team or dyn_cyclist or both and then the changes appeared in game. I hope this makes sense or maybe someone could clarify what i am trying to say with a screenshot=P |
