Hello,
is there a chance to increase random low stat riders (dont need to be low stat just more often during 3d race) withdravals?
I found few xml files in "Simu" folder (Flat_Events.xml for flat stages for example) and theres something like this:
-------------------------------------------------------------
<function name="ProbaToWithdrawInTour">
Any idea how to increase number of withdrawals (i tried to change some values but doesnt seems to work at least in single stage races i tried) because riding in Giro d Italia with full peleton (198 riders) after 10 stages is pretty unrealistic
Some will withdraw only because time limit in mountain stages which is ok but i want also some more random ones during race, i hope you understand my point, thx for answer.
Edit:typo

Well, I just finished the Tour of 2009, with only around the 150-160 riders left in the peleton. On the queen stages of the tours there are usually quite a few riders who dont make it home in time.
i rode Monte Paschi Eroica with Liquigas and went on a breakaway with Fanzoi an got about 25 mins on the pack. I won the race with 13 mins on Pozzato.That was the only to finish of about 130 i think

CrueTrue thx, too bad that it doesnt affect anything in 3d
Regarding other 2 replies... read my post once more, i wasnt talking about withdrawals because of time limit BUT random withdrawals during race are too few almost non extistant ( i had about 5 in about 80 3d stages i played) thus its very unrealistic.
Maybe you both should look at some real Tour or Giro and look how unexpected withdrawals works in reality (illness, rider doesnt feel he can go on, etc)?

- more withdrawals due illness/"bonking out"/minor injuries/horrible weather/low morale
- more and better clarified minor injuries ie. the ones which will limit your ability to perform but still enable staying in the race. In PCM2007 there are cases when your rider is riding with "red cross" and is limited a bit, but it is not informed in manager pages. Neither "riding through the pain" has fatigue/morale effect. Would be interesting managerial feature to decide whether you keep an injured rider in a race for services he still can do (early-stage wind-protector or water-fetcher) if you simultaneously compromise rest of his racing season.
- ability to pull a rider from the race during night. F ex you have a sprinter in Giro who you want to participate in flat Stage 11, but who has no place in mountains of Stage 12. Now you waste an extra day to get him out of the race.
