Can't find my database in-game

Hello, so I finally got my database editor to work, but now I have another problem.. I created a custom database, and wanted to play it. But in game I can't seem to find it. The last PCM I had was 2015, and in that game there was an option to pick a database. How does it work in the 2018 edition? Also can I run a custom database and a add on from the Steam Library the same time? Thanks in advance!!
