It seem that when you hit august 1st you have no competition for riders you want to sign, as the other teams seem to renew, then sign new riders, but much later than this date.

What would be your suggestions, to try to keep transfers more realistic? Wait a couple of days? Break the window into a couple of smaller ones, where you can only sign a certain amount of riders?

I have finished two seasons. The first I did not know this, so signed all the riders I wanted, without the other teams getting a chance - not fun.
Second, I am still only at august 1st, but want to hear suggestions to make transfers more enjoyable.

Or...?

I noticed this too, when I was waiting to sign for a team with my pro cyclist in order to see which other transfers they made. Almost all the signings took place in the final 2 weeks.

I guess wait untill the first emails come in of riders joining another team?

Is this still an issue, or did they fix it with a patch?
I am on my first season and just about to enter the August signing period, and I don't want to gobble up all the talent.
