So does anyone have any idea when the first patch will be coming out, i heard CT saying that it changes things from the fitness section and it must solve the budget problem that means you cant sign anyone
so id like to know if anyone has the slightest inclination as to when its going to be released.
thanks

Well hopefully soon, because it has been in development for some time according to CT. I hope I won't have to restart my career but no doubt I will as always |

as always, changes to the .exe, the .xml files, etc etc etc will have an effect on any save. as usual, changes to the DB will have no effect on saves since a save game file is itself a DB. So changing whatever in the DB will only affect new games that you start, not saved games.

Seeing as its updates to the training .xml etc., it will undoubtedly be suggested that you restart your game so you feel the impact of the changes. What I was kinda hoping is that I could somehow use some of the features of the new patch with my existing save and continue with my game. I want to get right through 1 season in my career, seeing as I've only done it a handful of times before. It's probably not likely to be a good idea though, so I may continue with the 'as boxed' version for a while yet |

changes to .xml files (and absolutely anything other than the .cdb files) won't require you to start a new career.

OK I got it now! Sorry I misunderstood your first post ops:
Well, lets hope they don't change the .cdb then |

I misunderstoo also. i thought he said changes to the Cdb dont have effect. But i thought they did and now issoisso's saying the do. Hehe confusion. What things would they need to change in the Cdb. i would have thought the Astana bug would be in there somewhere. |

Lagging? Yes, but only with all grafix-options on max in 1600X1200.
Crash: On time (4.4 km from goal, with my main man Rheis on the wheel of Bettini in a 6 man breakaway :-( )
I guess I've been playing 15-20 hours |

i've also just had one crash. seems quite stable compared to other versions, however you who dont want to restart your career, atleast in my game where i'm a continental team with few riders its preatty sucks to play career atm as they all get full fatigue in no time, and its either cheat "edit" it down or well total suck |

There's no release date for the patch, and no fix list has been released yet either. But don't worry, it's coming, and it's progressing really well
About save games, as isso said, you can continue your careers, but you might not have all fixes included in your save game. |

well i just got the game today and im going to start a small career just to test out the scouting side of the game and maybe race once
Its annoying when your waiting for the giant database and a patch, its almost like the game still hasnt been released yet

Last year the first patch made game running more smoothly.. Since you know that it's progressing really good, you might know this aswell? |

In fact, I'm not allowed to say anything. Sometimes, I just can't avoid it |
