If you have a Wage Cap or minimum rider limit problem
if no one else can help
and if you can find them
maybe you can hïre: The World Cycling Centre Team.
Did you get all excited on day 1 of transfers? Is your transfer sheet bleeing red ink? Are you short of the minimum rider limit without space to expand? Are you going to have to sack riders, or even worse lose your top gun in fines? Maybe we can offer a viable solution. We're not talking about taking in your weakest rider you now regret holding on to during the re-signing phase, the World Cycling Centre is only interested in good quality now, or good quality potential. We have cap space (for now), and very shallow pockets - near giveaways of your mistakes are preferred!
We are up front that any deals reached will look one-sided in favour of WCC in isolation, but if we are the ones throwing you a rope to help you out of a deep hole, then the good samaritan deserves some reward! I don't expect many other teams are still sitting with a chunk of wage cap unallocated.
NOTE: I am aware of all low wage rides already listed in transfer threads, none of these meet our specifications in defining 'interest' for WCC.
Depending how ludicrous or reasonable their wage is there would be some potential to pay a small fee for the right candidate. More likely solutions are that we would swop you a 50K wage rider for your rider on 'X'+50K wage, saving 'X' on your cap.
We always have other options as to what to do with our remaining cap, with an excessively long list of potential young development riders still in FA that would fit right in at WCC, so a final note:
Mr. T Says
I pity the fool who tries to pull the wool over Scorchio's eyes. He's been round the block too many times to be interested in any of your dross.
Please don't make Mr. T angry, or even worse make me have to force him to get on a plane to sort you out - he wouldn't like that, then you wouldn't like it!
