Coming into the transfer period a bit late, but here's what we have available for trading. As all good FA's should be gone by now, I'm aiming for a rider swap, with some extra cash if needed. I am already at my wage cap, so that's something to remember when sending me offers. As always, I'm looking for young talents. Obviously if you want Van Asbroeck, I want a better talent than I would ask for Umerbekov.
Okay, I think we might have to be a bit more specific to get some offers in before everyone finalises their roster
I'm a bit heavy on sprinters. Easiest would be if someone trades Pelucchi for a young talent. Matteo Pelucchi is a solid point scorer in the PCT if you use him right. His great backup stats make up for the "only" 79 sprint he has. Stage win and 100 ranking points last season despite being used as a leadout in some races.
Altenatively, Van Asbroeck can go, but I would need a top talent to replace him. Same for Bonifazio and Mareczko. As a last resort, Gaviria can be loaned out for the season, but you would have to take a big part of his wage for that.
Same for my hill squad, I could lose one of the domestiques. Umerbekov would be your best option here, with stage wins in Avenir and Portugal. Stuyven would also be an option.
No he's not, I was kidding. But now that I have your attention, Nikita Umerbekov is the guy you really want. Only 65.000 wage and can go for the same minimum transfer fee. He gave me a couple of stage wins in the past and if you have any doubts still, he was one lap short of winning the World Championship last year:
And with Umerbekov gone, we're pretty much done for the transfer period. The only thing that can still happen is a trade with Pelucchi or Peeters for a young talent. Pelucchi has the better backup stats and age on his side, so Peeters will have the best chance of leaving the team.
