Tosh is a strong energy sprinter is on the market. We aquired him, but due to other trades including signing Simon Spilak. Hence we have to sadly let him go again. He's got an outstanding skillset, that would make a nice leader in PCT and also a solid captain for PT. With his outstanding energy stats he could also be an object for some massive training.
Van der Sande has proven to be a great scorer in 2016, where he scored almost 500 for Strava, leading their cinderella story to promotion. Another way of using him is to have as a dominant leadout that is almost unbeatable for other riders given his combination of energy and speed. He also goes very well over cobbles and hills to go for minor classics sprints.

We are listening to all kinds of money or swap ideas here.
For pure money offers we've had interest in the region of up to 1.25 mio so far, but didn't receive a concrete offer that went up to convincing numbers.
For swap offers we are looking forward to a secondary scorer with significantly lower wage or a nice domestique + cash. Feel free to be creative and don't hesitate to come up with ideas.
Strava throwback: PCT 2016
from 4 Jours du Dunquerque:
Things would turn around though, especilla on the luck side. Netia's Vantomme got excellent support by his team, and our very own Tosh Van der Sande profited twice of that. Edging out the high-profile belgian sprinter of Netia, Van der Sande took two wins literally by a few centimeters. With the points gain, Van der Sande took the points classification and prevented Van Asbroeck's further advancement.
from the Tour de Berlin:
Coming straight off Dunkerque, Van der Sande continues his roll of form at the Berlin Pro Race against some of the best sprinters. Whilst his newly named archrival Vantomme has been missing, Van der Sande usurped the dominant sprint trains of Eritrel and Wiesenhof, sneaked past a blockade in the last few hundred meters, to take a clear victory on the slightly uphill route. With his quality in the flat and hills, this win still comes as a lucky surprise, one we can't get enough off though!
Strava was at first cautious about our chances, and we were hoping for a showdown instigated by Baugnies and Langeveld, looking at the recent history of this race. However Van der Sande confirmed his new found killer instinct by taking his third win of the season. |
