1. Christmas Day, 2007
Small Christmas Eve was Bjarne Riis fired as sportdirector in Csc - something I think was get stupid, because I liked the way he managed the team. But it was convenient that he went, as he has had the media on the neck since October. He has worked a bit hit, and he has not been completely sef himself.
I was a little wary of all those who would take over, because I knew that there were not many who were capable of oveta after Bjarne. But fortunately, is not completely gone from Bjarne Csc and cycling. He will be an advisor to me and Carlos, I'm glad.
We should know who is taking over sportdirector after Bjarne 1. January 2008.

1. January
The whole team put all the way back in the hall except for me, Carlos, and Stuart. We were masters and would only sit and look at who was sportdirector. I had no idea who it came to be, and I had no idea who it was when they shouted the name. "Magnus Drivan from Norway!" Everyone in the hall clapped there hands when 38-year-old Magnus came into. He sat between me and Stuart and said: "I'm happy to be sportsdirector for such a profile team to Csc. The goals are to win the Paris-Roubaix and clear a top-three position in the Tour de France. "I thought that he was in a way spoke to me when he said Paris-Roubaix. It was a strange, but also some really nice feeling. He worked very direct, something I did well.
Magnus responded to a couple of questions before he said it was enough. In the end, it was just all riders + Magnus, when he said: "Just call me MD." All the riders went, except me. I said to the MD that I liked his style, and that I am looking forward to the season. I also asked him if he had been a professional cyclist. "No, but I have been sportsdirektor Maxbo Bianchi, and had a assistantposition in Credit Agricole." There was enough for me. This man was good!

Second part, 2.January
Today, we should discuss the races we were to participate in and present the team.

Team
Fabian Cancellara: I am going to try to win some of cobblesclassic and TT. I hope to defend victory in the World Cup on TT.
Jens Voigt: Jens should be our man when it comes to "small races" as Tour of California etc. He will also be team mate to Carlos and Frank in the mountains and hills.
Karsten Kroon: Karsten is perhaps the most important team mate to Frank Schleck in the Ardenne-classics. He will also try to win the slightly less stage races with hills in.
Frank Schleck: Frank is the clear leder in Ardenne classics. We hope that he can take with a win or two in the races.
Stuart O'Grady: This is the man that will help me to win in cobbles. He will have free rein in Gent-Wevelgem, and is to be asked / lead out in the Tour de France.
Andy Schleck: Little brother Schleck will be our captain in Vuelta a España and help Carlos in the Tour.
Carlos Sastre: He will be our leader during the Tour and go for the top three.
Juan José Haedo: Haedo will be our sprinter spring. He goes for a stage wins in a Grand Tour.

This is our team. A fairly complete team, but we're missing a sprinter who can fight with the very best.

I was agree with the MD that my season is going to open in February with the race Voalto ao Argarve. But it's in March that it starts properly. Then will I participate in two small classics and two more races, namely the Tirreno-Adriatico and Milan-San Remo. In april it is the three cobblesclassic that is my main goals. And so I run a few Pro Tour-rides the rest of the season.
