slow and sticking...

my game works fine in all aspects with no bugs found so far apart from 1 track cycling 1. the only problem is that when i race it sticks throughout and is reallly sluggish...is there anyway to speed it up so it will run smoothly?

what is shaders? and how to you change them- if i was to change them from 2.0 to 0.0 would it speed up?

I sent a mail to Cyanide, and this is the answer they gave me:

Yes, there is no options to set shader version, this is not a bug.
This setting is now done automatically.
Please update the drivers of your NVIDIA GEFORCE GO graphics controller:
The reference drivers that are provided by NVIDIA are not compatible for laptop computers.
To locate the latest drivers for your NVIDIA mobile GPU, please visit your laptop manufacturer's website.
Otherwise, you can use GeForce Go modified drivers from LaptopVideo2Go.com https://www.laptop...

What is your system specs?

On my laptop (1.8 dualcore, 8600M/Go)
I can run the game in 1600x1200
"track quality" max
the two others (spectators and forrest?) one short of max
and (very important on my computer) shodows off :-)

Then it runs smooth on mine.
If I increase one of the settings, it's rubbish... (especialy the "forrest" setting!)

i run all graphics at its lowest setting possible

only things i change are "limit animation..." and "force graphics options" because i dont actually know what they are...

there must be at least one way that doesnt involve the graphics options that will make the game run smoother. Apart from a decent laptop/computer:lol:
