Fabian Wegmann of Gatorade will look to defend the race he won last year for Tinkoff and will again have the support of the German fans.
But there are plenty of other riders who fancy their chances - such as Norwegian Edvald Boasson Hagen (B&O), Daniel Moreno (Benfica), Igor Astarloa (Fed-Ex), Jurgen Vandenbroeck (Molteni), Nicholas Roche (Procycling) and Leonardo Bertognolli (Wiggle).
Champion, Ernst & Young, LA/MSS/Pearl Jam, Nippo and Nintendo B will also field teams.

It would be a big surprise if Vansummeren won. Particularly since you didnt pick him for the race.

Hagen has come along a lot since last year. He'll fight it out for the win with Wegmann, I reckon. Having said that, I can also see a rider like Roche going clear and taking everyone by surprise. It'll be an interesting race anyway, even if I'm not involved B) |

I have yet to understand why i brought a sprinting squad to this race. All i have is Bertagnolli, and Golcer as back up for him. Every other rider in my squad will be dropped before half the race is done i feel.
Ie:
Cadamuro - sprinter
Radochla - sprinter
McCallum - crap sprinter
Luke and Matt Rowe's - half good sprinters
Please someone remind me why...!?

Wow, well there goes Cadamura showing me off. He's done better than Usov so far this season, and i believe that was his first race. Maybe thats why he's a "team leader"... 3rd will do.

But Nazon is better - you saw how Nazon got 9th despite crashing, I have no doubt that Nazon would have won the race if not for the crash
