Team Barloworld will be the new team
Justin Kevenaar accepted Barloworld's offer signing for 2 years, the goal is simple...Pro Tour in 2 years and otherwise it's game over for Mr. Kevenaar
Here is the talented team with the 4 signings included:
And these are the goals:
Top 3 in Milano-Torino
Win Giro Dell Appennino
A stage in the Giro D'Italia
A stage in the Brixia Tour
Top 10 in the San Sebastian Classic
The difficulty will be hard all the way probably...
Next up: The TDU Classic and the Tour Down Under
Dwight K. Schrute: 'I'm not a hero. Im just a mere defender of the office. You know who is a hero? Hiro from Heroes. That's a hero. And Bono'.

Down Under Classic
This team will also race in the TDU, but this small classic trough Adelaide is just a criterium with no gc or ct points involved, with 20 kms to go a big group is formed and we have 1 guy in there
The young Geraint Thomas in the break that could make it
The group gets caught but because it is so big some of the better sprinters in the group manage to stay up front, Thomas is one of them and when they start the sprint he is up front in the wheel of Dyudya, a turn later he is up front!
Left: Thomas jumps out of Dyudya's wheel, Right: Geraint looking good but Martin Elmiger is coming fast!
Elmiger comes closer and closer...when they cross the finishline I hold my breath, will Elmiger or our young Geraint take the win?
Well, you be the judge!
From my point of view Geraint just takes it but the judge is fooled by Elmiger's speed which was higher when they crossed the line...so this is the judge's verdict;
Result:
1. Martin Elmiger AG2R PRÉVOYANCE 1h05'30
2. Geraint Thomas BARLOWORLD s.t.
3. Stéphane Poulhiès AG2R PRÉVOYANCE s.t.

It looks like thomas did because he has a bigger (thicker) wheel. thats why i always choose the smaller wheel eg Elmigers. who were your new signings, btw are you doing tdf?

New signings were Serebriakov, Marquez, Ardila Cano and Van Heerden, and yes even though a Giro Wildcard is our main goal a TDF wildcard is also a goalB)

somewhere in Colombia I guess
Tour Down Under, 5 Stages
Siutsou and Soler will be our leaders here while Degano is the team's sprinter, Perry and Augustyn can try their luck in the breaks
Stage 1, Mawson Lakes - Tanunda:
This first stage is an oppurtunity for the sprinters to take the leaders jersey, Kobzarenko and Mangel are the escapees of the day but they dont stand a chance against the pack, the question whether the big sprinters will decide today's winner or if it will be a Aussie who snatches the win here in Tanunda, once the sprint is off Hushovd is looking good and so is Haedo but then an Aussie comes trough the middle trying to end their party!
Brett Aitken comes trough the middle while Degano is in his wheel!
Aitken almost falls together with Hushovd but they both stay up, the 2 decide today's winner...Degano did a great job ending 3rd while Thomas ended 6th by staying in Degano's wheel as long as he could, the winner would be
The Saving & Loans team will be very excited about Aitken's win!
Result:
1. Brett Aitken SAVINGS & LOANS CYCLING TEAM 4h04'18
2. Thor Hushovd CRÉDIT AGRICOLE s.t.
3. Enrico Degano BARLOWORLD s.t.
4. Juan José Haedo TEAM CSC s.t.
5. Fred Rodriguez PREDICTOR - LOTTO s.t.
6 Geraint Thomas BARLOWORLD s.t.
7 Oleg Grishkine NAVIGATORS INSURANCE CYCLING TEAM s.t.
8 Mitch Docker DRAPAC PORSCHE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM s.t.
9 Erik Zabel TEAM MILRAM s.t.
10 Aurélien Clerc BOUYGUES TELECOM s.t.
11 Stuart O'Grady TEAM CSC s.t.
12 Tom Steels PREDICTOR - LOTTO s.t.
13 Hans Dekkers AGRITUBEL s.t.
14 Baden Cooke UNIBET.COM s.t.
15 Renaud Dion AG2R PRÉVOYANCE s.t.
16 Damion Drapac DRAPAC PORSCHE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM s.t.
17 William Bonnet CRÉDIT AGRICOLE s.t.
18 Enrico Poitschke TEAM MILRAM s.t.
19 Martin Pedersen TEAM CSC s.t.

he rode for atom last year, I think. this year, no idea. cyclingbase.com has him listed as an acqua & saponne rider. may very well be wrong.

Ardila is awesome, just like to point that out for those who, for some weird reason don't have the Giant |

curiously, I started a Barloworld career as soon as the Giant was out.
didn't race any races, though.
just now picked it up again.
pherhaps poetic justice, but Geraint won the Down Under Classic
