Sprint: Does effort matter?

Hello guys,

I have problems with sprinting.. I play on easy because I'm fairly new to PCM. Now I have a question about my sprinter's effort, I still keep it at 70. Does it make a difference when I put it on 99?

As far as i know, the sprint and attack function is maximum efforts and are not effected by effort input.

Like Hillis91 says. Be aware that if you sprint to early and you run out of that red bar to early your sprint will stop and others will probably pass you. I also find it much harder this version to time it when to start the sprint. Sometimes you have to start at 1.1 km other time 0.6. Still have to figure it out if following the favourite (getting their wheel) works.

Wind and gradient effects it more now, which is more realistic i belive.

So if there's headwind and your resistance bar is only half, start the sprint very late. However, with full energy and tailwind you can sprint for 1,5 km perhaps.
