How many race days for which riders?

Hey there, I was wondering if there is still a system in place where drivers need a certain amount of race days (and not more than another amount) to get their perfect development?

IIRC this was based on age/experience in earlier games. Is there anything like that in PCM 18? Or can I just freely use the riders as much as I like?
