I didnt saw a topic about this yet. I just started a career with Mitchelton - Scott, who really have a nice team to do some fun things with and options to build a great team in the 2nd season. Key for this is ofcourse fullfilling the needs of the sponsor. With this aspect I have a few problems allready.
- First thing: I won the Australian NK with Cameron Meyer, but for some reason this didnt count and therefore objective failed. While the objective winning the tour down under (with S.Yates) counted as a pass. So I dont get it why the first one didnt count?
- Second thing: registered riders. So far I just did the first month. I won the herald tour in Australia, thinking that my sponsor would like it if I registered S.Yates and Ewan Caleb. But nothing....
- Third thing: selection. My sponsor is not at all satisfied with the selection. Only Kreuziger is to their likings. But having two big prospects from Britain and a lot of australian riders doesnt satisfy them in these countries. I dont get it.
Anyone has the same issues? Or reasons why this happens? Solutions? Very frustrating.
Can't speak on the first issue, that may be a bug. As for the second, I think the race needs to be prestigeous enough for the sponsor to notice. Especially for a WT team, the sponsor probably doesn't care as much who you get to ride in the Herald Sun Tour (even if it's on home soil). Get Kreuziger to ride Paris-Nice or something like that, that should show up.
As for the selection tab: What matters is the reputation of a rider, not stats or potential. You can find the reputation on the rider info sheet (top right iirc). It progresses from local to regional to national to continental to star to superstar, or something like that. The Yates brothers or Ewan don't have the resumee of Kreuziger yet. So you can either try to get someone with a bigger reputation, or increase the reputation of your riders.
Ah oke, havent ride with kreuziger yet. But will be planning to use him very soon.
That second thing I also just read somewhere else. I kinda get it, but still its kinda stupid aswell, since the yates brothers and ewan are better riders to get results with. Well will be focussing on winning . Thanks for the reply! That first thing is probably a bug.
do you by chance know where I can easily see a list of the reputation? In ascend order? Or just have to click every single rider?
