Hi.
In the manual, the energizing gel is said to give a ekstra performance boost.
Does anyone know for how long?
Is it while flashing or after the flashing?
I fail to see/feel any difference after using the gel. |

while flashing. When I use the gel, if I attack while it's flashing, about 1 third of the time I get a "green moment", and that's much more often than in normal attacks.

so are you saying that when it begins to flash, that is the time to attack? Because i have been doing it pretty much right after i click it.

you can make them celebrate by hitting one of theys keys (each of them has a different celebration)
Q,W,E,C,V,B (and I think there's a couple more)

You need to wait until it flashes, yes |

If you have the energy gel just before a sprint and youu sprint while it's flashing, will that help your sprint?
Or is it just attacks?
I'm guessing just attacks. I only ask because isso said he gets a "green moment" a lot after having the gel.

You click the energy gel button (looks like a tube) and then wait a while, then it starts flashing. Attack whilst it's flashing, apparently. Then you will be able to attack for longer

I'm fairly sure it only works for attacks. |

Doesn't it also work for riding your own tempo on a high %? |

11.1.8. Victory animations
If you are lucky enough to bring your rider to a race victory, you can choose the way he celebrates
as he crosses the line. The following keys - Q, W, X, C, V, B, N - launch a variety of animations
that you can discover as you go from victory to victory.
Finaly I found it..thanks guys |

you can also celebrate at intermediate mountain sprints
and best of all, you can celebrate even if you don't win

I'm fairly sure it only works for attacks. No not really, it gives an advantage in the sprint too. Because the yellow bar decreases less fast.
This is the way I could win the tour down under with Gene Bates |

well, then I'm going to start doing that. because in normal circumstances, my sprinters are much slower than their form and skills should allow them to be. Maybe the AIs are using the gel?
The gel is a bit stupid in my opinion. It's too arcade. shouldn't be there.
