Shapira should be the big favourite for this mountainous Israeli National RR, but Eliad can’t be discounted.

21km to go and Eliad and Shapira have distanced their compatriots already.

They’d be brought back, but with 8km to go Shapira would launch a massive attack and immediately pull out almost 2 minutes within half a kilometre.
