Ladder protection

In a mountain train... first rider protecting the second, the second protecting the third, and so forth all the way to the leader....


Is using a ladder protection would be cheating.

Is it just easier to manage the rider because you only have to worry of the leader effort and also not to worry about the rider killing their self trying to go back in front OR Does it give you a real unfair advantage over the AI?

The "protection train" only makes your domesiques tired more quickly.
