Hey guys currently I am trying to host a PCM game, however ppl seem to not be able to connect to my game, given that I only get the screen with my name and waiting next to it and for a long time no-one seems to be able to join. I tried to forward the right ports (since I'm working with a router)
In the attackement is a screen of my port setup... Maybe I am doing something wrong? Thx for the help!
I actually don't know which ports need forwarding. But you could try and DMZ(demilitarized zone, opens all ports to selected IP, should be in your router somewhere) your computer for a brief session and see if you're able to host then. If people still can't join it's not a forwarding problem.
Also, check if your windows firewall is running. If it is, disable it. There's no need for it anyways when you manage your routers firewall.
From personal experiences, it can be very hard to ever be able to host. Thing is that having two "routers" (one modem and one wireless router, for example) also makes it difficult since you need to make some sort weird forwarding from one router to the other.
I'd advice you to ask at some "dedicated" forum for port forwarding. That's what I did and I can host now
