Three amateurs form the break of the day.
Valio were the team working to bring them back.
The break is caught with just 3 km left!
Into the final kilometer we go. No trains have been formed and the sprinters take their positions at the front by themselves.
It is Tiainen, Nuurmi, Manninen, Halme and Kaislavuo the riders looking for the win today.
400 meters to go and the win is between Tiainen, Nuurmi and Manninen.
200 meters. Tiainen still leasd as Manninen comes past Nuurmi.
But the top favourite runs out of road as Tiainen takes the win!
Henttala out on as one of the favourites. But he has a disappointing run and can't beat the current best time currently held by Vastaranta - 1h11'53". The former is 12" slower.
Halme does take the elad. His time is 1h11'20".
But it is short-lived. Pokala blows everyone out of the water with a time of 1h9'58" and takes the win.
