We have good news and we have bad news, but first the bad news!
As many of you know the PCM Daily Database Team has really struggled over the last six months with trying to put out a 2018 database for PCM 2017, quite simply because of a lack of team members to do the required work. This is due to a varied number of personal reasons and without the required technical knowledge there can be no database for PCM 2017.
The good news is that work for the database has now picked up especially on the technical side and it has now been decided to concentrate all our efforts on an earliest as possible database release for the new PCM 2018.
We apologize for the delays but there is only so much that can be done with limited people and time, and all efforts now can be used to get a database out for the new game.

I think that's a good decision. Let's hope PCM 2018 is worthy all the work you putting in the new DB. |

I for one do not think it is a good decision: when a new game comes out, there are often a lot of bugs for Cyanide to go through and for modders to understand how the stats interact with the new game engine. By focusing only on the new PCM, you're basically skipping the high period for general interest in the game (during the Tour), whereas you could capitalise on people buying last year version when it is cheap during the Steam summer sale by having a patch available for them.
Obviously, that does not mean you don't have my support. This site's database has given me plenty of enjoyment throughout the year and for one version of the pack to be lacking won't change the affection I have for this site nor the trust it has gained.

A very fair point. However, even if we wanted to release stuff, we would in any case still need the people who have both the time and skills to do all the work for a DB, and at this point that is unfortunately not possible. In the summer we hope to have more time available to do the necessary work, so unless weird stuff happens we should normally relase something.

The former I guess. I'm sure someone will convert it into PCM17, otherwise I think WorldDB probably released a 2018DB for PCM17 (I'd reccomend using the current PCM.daily stats instead though  )
