Skipping a race with Hannes Converter

Hi!

I used to know how you did this, ut I have forgotten.
How can you skip stages with the converter?
I remember that i had to find the race and stage id,
and then replace it with the stage i wanted to skip.

Hope you understand what i'm writing.

You need to open the tables GAM_config and STA_stage. Look in GAM_config to see what your current and last stage figures are and then look in STA_stage and find the races after the "current race"

Basically put the current race ID into the "gene_i_last_stage" (or whatever it's called) and then put the next stage ID fom STA_stage into the "gene_i_current_stage" (or whatever)

If the next stage is on the same day, simply look in the STA_stage table for the next biggest numbered ID on the same day. If it's on a different day look at the stages for that day and choose the smallest ID.

Thanks for the help!

The stage names is in STA_Race, so i didn't have to look at the IDs, I just looked at the next stage in the race.

I tried to move the date, but suddenly all races are just being past..?

Are you sure you put in the correct date? Ie if using the 2008 DB you put in 2008 as the year. Easy mistake to make im sure.

That normally happens if you don't alter or change the next stage ID to the wrong number.
