It's been a roller-coaster ride for the past two days. In fact the race itself has been one long ride with lead changes after every stage. We are back to the flats with what looks like some sanity returning to proceedings. Perfect stage for a breakaway to stay away? That's not what the sprinters will be hoping for.

47 km/hr winds blow against the riders as they wait for the start.

No breaks till we reach the first KOM sprint.

pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/rbc.png Morizot, pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/spy.png Ariesen and pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/ayu.png Predatsch take the points on the first climb from the pack.

They use that to try to form the break and are joined by 14 others - pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/hug.png Ruiz, Betilson (Porto - Prio), pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/vad.png Kulppi, pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/pnd.png Cheung, pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/gzl.png Campenaerts, pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/jay.png Porte, pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/wha.png Bolivar, pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/jay.png Durbridge, pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/vad.png Arissol, pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/tsa.png Yatsevich, pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/pnd.png Fenn, pcmdaily.com/files/Micros17/fes.png Antonijevic,
