Can not start the game!

Hi
I just bought PCM 17 and installed it through Steam. When I start the game, I get an error message saying "steamauthfailed". Can see it has happened to others in previous versions. Have tried to reinstall, confirm local files, etc. Nothing works! Very annoying! Someone who has a solution?

Please help!

I have the same issue as well. Bought the game today, would be great is someone has a solution. Seems to be a recent problem for PCM17, as I can only find the same issue online for PCM16.

One solutions which work.
When your PC is connected by cable/wire on Internet. Remove the cable. At least you can play then.

Today it did actually work, so I'd recommend to try once in a while because out of the blue it just seemed to work for me. Good luck! Another option is mentioned in the steam community known issues tread, something to do with the Fast Editor.
