looks like that cyanide starts outsourced STA_TGA.
Example:
Grafik Pointers from DYN_CYCLIST -> STA_TGA didnt exists anymore. DYN_CYCLIST stores now directly the grafik files as string. |

thanks for the info it will surely take some time adding the tga links directly into DYN_cyclist.
are there any chances seeing you updating your amazing kicker tool for the PCM08 CDB file this year? |

Continue your work, Impish. We all appreciate it. Although, I thought you said that the PCM Kicker for PCM07 was the last thing you were going to do? |

I also heard that the PCM07 Kicker was the last you would make. I hope you've changed your mind, your Kicker's are great tools. If not then the work you've done already is still very helpful

no - it was the last one, think hannes do a great job based on my idea, and kicker was only for creators not for players.
CDB2006/CDB2007/CDB2008 Converter is only for trying is it possible to convert Giant2006 to PCM2008, because i like plakkers work and maybe it helps a little bit that the dutch guy change his mind and release it for PCM2008.
Also im a little bit disappointed about why pcmdaily and pcmspain work with there own tool, and didnt spread it to they community - or did someone received they original tool from cyanide because the french company is now in panic because a second cycling manager game is ready to release.

It's not our fault impi - Cya provided us with that before the release date simply because I was its first tester (the one who offered himself to help). |

The Kicker really was a great tool for creating databases, but as you said Hannes has done a good job with his Convertor, although it isn't really that good at adding lines to databases.
I have high hopes that an "advanced" editor/convertor will be released for PCM08 though, due to the carefully used words by someone at the "Open Bar" event

I'm sure Cyanide's new incentive to provide the community with a basic editor, advanced edtor and xml exporting is due to the fact there is a new game being created plus the fact that a lot of DB creators decided not to build DBs for PCM07.
On-topic: I think it will be much better having the links directly in the same table, easier to edit and less error-prone i hope. |
