The decisive stage! At 60 km, it will take a true specialist to conquer and triumph at the end of this stage. Schadlich leads, maybe a little surprisingly, after a good run in the Prologue. That result will stand for next to nothing on this stage. Phinney won this stage last year and became the overall winner as a result. Can he repeat the same? Coppel and Fiedler look to be his biggest threats but there are a couple others who would like to sneak ahead, if it's their day.
