I have a problem in my Pro Cyclist career in PCM 2016, where I play with the WorldDB 2017 v.1.1 database. Suddenly all pictures of cyclists and jerseys are replaced with pink squares. When I ride the next race, all cyclists ride in the same (red and grey) jersey.
If I start a race outside of my career and want to select the database, it seems to be disappeared from the list, while I can still select other databases. I'm still subscribed to it on Steam and can still download other databases.
I can't find a specific reason for the disappearance of the database. However, while restarting the game recently I had to accept conditions again, just like when I started playing in the beginning. Probably this was an update?
I understand the pink squares were already a problem in previous PCMs, but I can't find the solution in other threads. Who can help me, please?
Played this game for a couple years with no issues. Last night, nothing wrong. Today, pink squares and every rider in the same jersey. I changed nothing.
Trying to fix it (and perhaps update a bit), I downloaded pcmdaily 2017 and also the pcmdaily 2017 v1.1 and followed the install instructions for each. Have the ability to start new careers with the choice of new database (lite or full), but my ongoing career that I have been playing forever, the jerseys do not work. (still pink box/all riders in same jersey)
No idea what might have gone wrong. When you see pink squares and all riders in the same (Cyanide) jersey it means it cannot find the subfolders with the correct data. Take a look and see if anything is wrong:
The folder structure should be install directory (where you find the pcm64.exe) /3D/Cyclists/Cloth/Team. In the Team folder you should find lots of subfolders, one for each team, with three letter abbreviations or 4 numbers. In each subfolder there should be at least 3 .png graphic files, all starting with the abbreviation. For example, in the sky folder there needs to be a sky_maillot.png, sky_transfert_ar.png and sky_transfert_av.png.

Not sure why my saved career can't access the artwork, but new careers can. I'm sure something needs to be moved to a different folder, just not sure what.
Well, I find that baffling. You could load a weekly save, if that works, your savegame somehow got corrupted (though I have no idea how). Or open up your savegame in an editor and check the table DYN_sponsor and the column jersey abbreviation, but that's a desperate idea.
