Three races this month, which makes for a fairly straight forward update. The Lac Megantic Classic was the latest PTHC race, followed by the double header of Suisse and Dauphine.
Festina continued their unbeatable PTHC form as Coquard sprinted to victory in Canada. 175 points for them, while Spotify took 106 (Stallaert, 4th) and Puma got 82 (Demare, 5th).
Taaramae then tore through the all-star opposition to score 558 points in Switzerland, with Wiesenhof managing 624 in total. Machado's most impressive PT race was enough for 467, while Vesuvio scored 334. Evonik, Moser and Nemiroff all scoring in the 240s, with Spotify, Puma and Aegon also passing 200 points.
Aegon then went on to top score at the Dauphine, with Dekker's GC victory netting them 432 points. The points were more spread out, with Puma taking 344 and Gazelle 330 - having had 3 riders finish in the Top 12 (10th, 11th, 12th). Moser took 307 here, while Wiesenhof, Spotify and Evonik made it past 200 - Aker just short.
Wiesenhof top the tables for June then. Taaramae almost enough on his own, but then Cattaneo chipped in with a podium finish. Aegon come 2nd for the month, just ahead of Puma - while Spotify had a consistent month of points scoring, to be the 4th best team. Moser in 5th to keep their strong season going.
| | Team | Megantic | Suisse | Dauphine | June | | 1 | | Wiesenhof - Andritz | 0 | 624 | 267 | 891 | | 2 | | Aegon - Lavazza | 28 | 210 | 432 | 670 | | 3 | | Team Puma - SAP | 82 | 224 | 344 | 650 | | 4 | | Spotify - Haglöfs | 106 | 229 | 237 | 572 | | 5 | | Moser - Sygic | 0 | 245 | 307 | 552 | | 6 | | Porto - Prio | 0 | 467 | 55 | 522 | | 7 | | Vesuvio - Accumalux | 0 | 334 | 184 | 518 | | 8 | | Evonik - ELKO | 0 | 244 | 202 | 446 | | 9 | | Gazelle | 0 | 97 | 330 | 427 | | 10 | | Festina - Dexia | 175 | 83 | 144 | 402 | | 11 | | Nemiroff - ABBYY | 0 | 240 | 122 | 362 | | 12 | | Pendleton's | 0 | 150 | 170 | 320 | | 13 | | Aker - MOT | 0 | 38 | 197 | 235 | | 14 | | RBC Pro Cycling | 41 | 80 | 95 | 216 | | 15 | | eBuddy | 25 | 47 | 130 | 202 | | 16 | | Hugo Boss | 0 | 121 | 76 | 197 | | 17 | | Tinkoff Sport Academy | 8 | 105 | 67 | 180 | | 18 | | Ayubowan! | 0 | 81 | 93 | 174 | | 19 | | Jayco - Cobra9 | 0 | 50 | 90 | 140 | | 20 | | Strava | 0 | 25 | 53 | 78 | | 21 | | Iberia - Team Degenkolb | 0 | 52 | 20 | 72 | | 22 | | Project: Africa | 2 | 0 | 15 | 17 |
So Moser have extended their lead this month, back up to over 800 points. Vesuvio have reached their peak position for the season, continuing to have the 2nd best PpRD value as well.
Festina now trail Moser by 843 points, remaining 3rd. Pendleton's remain in 4th, with Hugo Boss slipping down to 5th. Also no position change for Aegon and Evonik - but Aegon have certainly closed the gap to the teams above them.
Gazelle move more comfortably into the Top 10, with Aker and Puma completing those positions - but Jayco are only 1 point behind, after falling 3 positions in a frustrating month. For Puma it was 4 places gained, after 4 lost last month. Spotify, like Aegon, don't gain a psition but do close a gap.
Wiesenhof bid farewell to the relegation zone, climbing 7 positions to 13th. Porto on the up too, by 1 spot, as Strava fall 4 positions to 15th. They do have a gap of nearly 200 points to the next team though, that's Tinkoff - who lost 3 places themselves.
With top scorer Monsalve now done for the season, Ayubowan hold the last spot of safety, 37 points clear of Nemiroff, who have climbed to 18th. eBuddy and RBC are closely matched, and both within 100 points of safety, with an important month ahead. Iberia lost ground to all teams above them.
| | | Team | Total | RD | PpRD | | 1 | 1 | | Moser - Sygic | 5266 | 112 | 47.02 | | 2 | 5 | | Vesuvio - Accumalux | 4438 | 112 | 39.63 | | 3 | 3 | | Festina - Dexia | 4423 | 124 | 35.67 | | 4 | 4 | | Pendleton's | 4305 | 119 | 36.18 | | 5 | 2 | | Hugo Boss | 4282 | 125 | 34.26 | | 6 | 6 | | Aegon - Lavazza | 4104 | 124 | 33.10 | | 7 | 7 | | Evonik - ELKO | 3844 | 125 | 30.75 | | 8 | 9 | | Gazelle | 3623 | 112 | 32.35 | | 9 | 10 | | Aker - MOT | 3389 | 112 | 30.26 | | 10 | 14 | | Team Puma - SAP | 3340 | 111 | 30.09 | | 11 | 8 | | Jayco - Cobra9 | 3339 | 112 | 29.81 | | 12 | 12 | | Spotify - Haglöfs | 3325 | 124 | 26.81 | | 13 | 20 | | Wiesenhof - Andritz | 3297 | 119 | 27.71 | | 14 | 15 | | Porto - Prio | 3185 | 112 | 28.44 | | 15 | 11 | | Strava | 3123 | 125 | 24.98 | | 16 | 13 | | Tinkoff Sport Academy | 2931 | 117 | 25.05 | | 17 | 16 | | Ayubowan! | 2805 | 119 | 23.57 | | 18 | 19 | | Nemiroff - ABBYY | 2768 | 112 | 24.71 | | 19 | 17 | | eBuddy | 2709 | 111 | 24.41 | | 20 | 18 | | RBC Pro Cycling | 2707 | 117 | 23.14 | | 21 | 21 | | Iberia - Team Degenkolb | 2271 | 125 | 18.17 | | 22 | 22 | | Project: Africa | 318 | 124 | 2.56 |
The fact that Andy Schleck extended his individual rankings lead is one of the few positives he can take from the Tour de Suisse, but it does surely end any remote chance he had of retaining his individual title. Alarcon won't have been happy with the race either, but does return to 2nd - as Bewley rests up and now sits 3rd.
Pluchkin and Dombrowski swap, with the rest of the Top 10 unchanged. Machado climbs to 12th, and Taaramae is into 15th. The month's top scorer climbing 58 positions. Coquard is into the Top 20, Cattaneo, Abal and Dekker into the Top 30 - Dekker trumping Taaramae's position gain, as he is up 63.

What a terrible month, in which we had Morton and a quite promising Haig (plus Durbridge as a TT favorite at CDL) racing It's about time for some positive news. Please!

Great month for us, hoepfully it continues into July, and hopefully we will see Taaramae into top 5 after TDF. Great results from Mattia now as well, way better than what he did last season

It's hard to overstate my satisfaction with this month.
Very consistent riding by all our leaders, two 7th places in the GCs and a 5th in the classic. Add a stage win by Ciolek and many, many good stage results beyond that as well as jersey success, and we're finally back in the Top 10.
Another proof of our depth is that we got there without a standout rider featuring in the Top 40 in the individual standings. Although frankly, at this point that's rather down to bad performances by Kelderman and Blythe in key races.
I think we have the scoring potential left to overtake Gazelle and Hugo Boss eventually, while the fight with Aker will probably stay close until the very end.
Jayco sadly doesn't look that good anymore, but Spotify could surprise and stay with us.
Wiesenhof will certainly be tough to beat, while I'm now confident that even Gesink and Phinney can't get their teams ahead of us for long after the TdF.
So all things considered, I am quite hopeful we can get our Top 10 sponsor goal, with 8th probably the highest we can achieve.
Now, that's obviously way worse than we were predicted and worse than I expected, but we gotta deal with reality, and we're still a long way from Lombardia anyway.

Is what is, was always supposed to drop hard at this point, especially given the horrenodous grand tours. Hoping we can back on the saddle now and start scoring nicely in Tour with some big luck on our side. As soon as the Grand Tours are over, i also expect us to score more eagerly again, but who knows if this is enough. Feeling like we went from Strava magic to Strava yoyo, bouncing through the rankings all over the place.

200+ points in each race
I've been insanely lucky in the two races scoring about 200 more than expected. Still not completely sure where the season will go. Many teams have more races left, i still have a couple of horrible races (praha, TTT!) left and the TDF will shake things up a lot. But we also are far closer to the top than i expected after last month.
I still see Puma as a team that could get dangerous while Hugo Boss and Pendelton's might still be reachable for us. Top 5 was the sponsor goal and that could still be possible.
MvS underperformed so far but my depth has scored a lot better than i could expect. I don't I've ever had 6 guys in the top 100 of a ranking update in my team's history

Good month for us with Machado's top performance in Suisse. We could have gathered a better amount had Reis not vanished in the last stage of the Dauphine. Anyway, more or less where I'd expect us to be at this point. ebuddy and RBC should leapfrog us, but then it should be pretty tight among the rest of the teams fighting against relegation.
Spotify moving swiftly into safety. Moser cruising with legendary ease into a sick victory. A word about Jayco too, who despite all the shenanigans still maintain a solid mid-table position.
Thanks for another thorough update SN!

Hopefully my Strava friends can keep their head above the water. Step up soon. Ayubowan should have similar difficulties, and there is some advantage to other teams (Iberia, Nemiroff) as well. Go Strava!

Wow almost 600 pts down to relegation, starting to look good and cant seem all teams behind us scoring much more in TdF then us besides Wiesenhof,eBuddy and RBC ofc.
And only 15 pts up to Top 10?
Never gonne happen but being so close so long into the season is amazing.
But since our most overpreformed rider Mr.Abals racedays are over I really hope Wellens can do as Good as him.
Aswell as Ahlstrand to do well in Czech at first.
Stallaert also have chance to Score on his favorite terrain bit its the hills that scares me need good result by Haugaard Jensen there.
We have also used more RD then most of the teams below so I guess they have chance to score big in PTHC races.
Thanks for the update! Will be very fun seeing the changes on the next update.
How close can Festina get? How high will Wiesenhof climb?
Will Yates make a California/Tirreno performance to help His team climb in the rankings? A lot of questions to be answered. |

Still in a great position for 2nd overall. 800pts with Sagan in the TdF will probably see us level out at best, and then take a slim lead after Praha with 2 stagewins for Bewley.
Wiesenhof could be a top 5 candidate looking at how they are currently Holding up.

Expected drop is fine. Still looking pretty good although the month couldnt have gone much worse. Nice to see Alarcon defend 2nd for now - for how long that can last.
Moser seems unable to have a bad race which is just hugely impressive. Cant see them give this title away.
Thanks for the update!

Thank you for the update!
Looks like a very close battle for those lower top 10 spots. I think cio93 was spot on also for my team when he described his own team's chances, eventhough I think I'll struggle to keep Puma behind. But a top 10 still looks very doable, but of course we need a good performance by Guldhammer in the Tour, and preferably also some breakaway luck there with no sprinter present. Will surely be an interesting continuation of the season!
At the very top, Moser looks as good as ever, but now though is the time for Festina to start to gain and maybe overtake, with Spilak joining the Tour fun. |

I must admit I've made horrible work in off-seaon, everything (race planning, transfer, training) went wrong his year. Will be interested to compete in PCT after long years again, though.
Gap between us and second last active team is tremendous, however the goal for rest of season is to overtake Nemiroff and Ayubowan! at least.

Thank God the worst part of the season is over now hindsight says Phinney should have done Dauphine instead of Paris Nice but shouldn't make much difference just need a good last 3 races for him now to end the season strong, but a must buy for next season is a half decent Punchuer we've just not scorer anything in those races this year |

Thanks for the update!
What an unexpected good month for us. Could be the key for our success in this season! Really happy with Velits' season, clearly the best one in our jersey. And the real key: some other riders than just our stars entered the top 100 or are just outside of it. Only Vakoc continues in his really bad journey during this year. Still some races to change his season though...
Looks like we are in for a fight till the end of the season with at least Festina, but there clearly could be some other teams close to us after TdF.
Oh and I am really sad to see our friends from Iberia being so down the rankings. Hopefully better things are coming for them after TdF...
