Leader objective race satisfaction

Is it possible to edit the satisfaction of a leader after setting his objective races?

The problem I have is that I want to have a time-trial rider focus on his ITT national championships, but his satisfaction drops if I don't give him any teammates. Why would he need teammates if it's a ITT race??

So there is no solution? Just PCM being illogical and bad? Sad
