I apologize if this has been posted before, but I ran into this weird bug, and I don't know if any of you know how to fix or work around it.
Anyway, I played my first season with my custom team and thought "holy shit, that was easy". They were doing way better than they were supposed to. This changed when I got to the world championships, I'd been assigned the American NT, where I saw all riders having 5 in fitness. That's weird, especially since it's one of Taylor Phinney's objectives.
After getting my new riders, I noticed what their fitness schedules looked like. No wonder my team had been so (relatively) dominant all season. Examples of what the default fitness planning looks like can be seen here: https://imgur.com/a/IgBTs
I decided to relegate myself back to PCT, having gotten promoted by unintentionally playing on easy.
I tried to use GAM_user to change team, and the other teams (the ones I tried at least) had a similar issue. How do I fix this. If I've understood the game correctly, every team will have their rider's fitness at 5 through the entire season. Is there any way to fix this bug?
I'm using a rather custom DB, essentially JESGD DB15 with PCM Daily Lite 2017 teams and stats.
EDIT: I'm trying to dig deeper, and in DYN_cyclist_objective I found the field "gene_ilist_prio" which corresponds to when the rider peaks. Looks like I've found part of the issue, whatever calculated the data that goes he screws up somehow.
EDIT 2: It appears that I have found a workaround (I refuse to call it an outright fix): Use GAM_user to insert myself as manager for every team, one at a time. Press "reset" on every single rider on every single team.

That's weird. It shouldn't look like that, I just checked a save from a 26th of October and my new riders all had normal schedules that season. So... there must be something wrong with your installation? First, I'd say, check a weekly save game from early in the season, if you see this "no fitness problem" right away. Then maybe re-install everything, start a new game, simulate a few days and then go and check the other teams again. If the problem reappears you might have to go with a different db setup.
