Or actually it's before Paris-Nice, the day before the prologue. When i hit the next day button the game crashes. I'm in 2011. I have attached the savegame for anyone who would like to have a go at fixing it, which will be veryy much appreciated. I noone wants to have a go at it, any help in nudging me in the right direction will also be very welcome.
Thanks in advance
Oh and: GO BRESCHEL!!!!!! (I'm still not over Philly)

make another save of your game and save it as a different name, then try the stage on the other save game, its a long shot but its all i can think of

Doesn't work. I don't think there's any problems with the stages on the date, because it's the 'day turn' bar where the game crashes to the desktop.

What you can try is to lower your settings, but I don't think that's the problem. what kind of fault do you have exactly (maybe a screen or something)? |

A_Schleck: Did you manage to find a fix for this problem? I have the exact same issue as you describe. 2011, day before the Paris-Nice prologue I hit the next day button and the game crashes. Using the PCM Spain database. |

I believe the problem stems from another race, not the Paris Nice. It's just that you can all see the Paris Nice race. For me, my game crashed during the Paris Nice whilst going to the next day based on one of the minor races in the background of the game. The game crashes because there is an error somewhere in the cdb to do with a stage, or there is an error with that stage in it's xml file. Basically the easy way round it is to find the elusive post in this bit of the forum that explains how to skip to the next day. Why it never got posted as an article, i'll never know...

Thanks. I've seen and used several times the skip a day cure for the Tour Down Under issue that pops up from the second season and reoccurs every season. Will try that cure. Hope it does not cost me my just completed 4th stage from Murcia. For strong performance of the year with 1st, 2nd and 3rd taken by my team. |

If you've already raced a day it won't affect that race as the game saves after each race.

Thanks Crue True. I'd really appreciate it. My own best efforts have been fruitless and I'd hate to think I have to drop this career after so much time invested.
The save game file is 7.5MB so not sure whether it will upload here or not. Will try.
Edit: Attached the file but I don't see it here so assume it was too large. What is the next best way to get it to you?

Thanks. Just don't laugh too much at how overloaded my team is! I made a math mistake and went way over salary budget (and I'm a finance major no less). Result is the team is a bit too good this season. Try to stay within the budget limits, otherwise the way the AI leaves good talent unsigned it is too easy to build a super team. |

So, here it is. I don't know if it works since I don't have PCM07 installed, but if it doesn't, feel free to come back, and we can try again.
