Today's a special day, and I'd like to dedicate a bit of time and space to it.
Exactly ten years ago today, right around now, I registered on this forum.
While that was admittely solely for DB reasons and my active, contributing time here began much later, it still is the most tangible occasion to express my gratitude.
It's safe to say I spent more time on this site in the last decade than on any other website, and there were times when it was even more time than on all other sites combined.
I've always felt at home here, understood and appreciated way beyond what is expected from a simple game forum. This is the only place and you are the only people I know that I can freely share my love of cycling with.
Additionally, you all have taught me more English than school ever could.
Special thanks have to go to CrueTrue for literally everything you've done for daily.
To SN for being the backbone of this site and particularly the ManGame which I sometimes planned and cared about more extensively than my own life and which gives me an alternative reality to flee to or gives me a motivation boost in tough times.
To roturn for partially taking over and being one of the major contributers in all regards.
To all the current and past mods who kept this site going and tidy.
To everyone who is or ever was a part of the ManGame and makes it the best forum game in existence.
To everyone who ever worked on a daily DB, which is what intially drew most of us to this site in the first place and continues to improve any PCM game and makes it enjoyable.
To everyone who ever helped answer the thousands of game-related questions or even made some handy tools like Lachi.
To all the members who massively shaped this site but who won't read this because they moved on in life like isso, Aquarius, lluuiiggii, Pelli, Addy, Smoothie etc.
And yeah ok also to Alak despite being an awful human being.
You all, and everyone I didn't mention, made and continue to make this a community I'm very proud to be a part of for a whole decade now and hopefully for another decade to come.
Did you do that on purpose?
Edit: just saw the time of the post, great timing
10 years is quite a long time. I just noticed I'm also part of the site for 5 years now, which is only half of that and to think how much has happened in my life since then, but through all of that this site was always a great place to go to to read about cycling and because of some great initiatives always much fun.
