I picked this thread up on a Swedish Football Manager forum and really liked the idea and since I didn't see one here I created one.
This is the thread for thos who would like to share their PCM experiences but hasn't got the motivation or time to write a story about it. Here you can tell everyone about what you accomplished, what transfers you made, the strategy that won you the tour.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I can start by saying that I just started a save with High Road since I managed to get the game working again, and I set up this plan for the season:
Michael Rogers: Peak for the tour, and aim on a top 5 finish
George Hincapie: Peak for spring classics, and try to get a stage win in Tour
Kim Kirchen: Leader in Giro
Lövqvist,Gerdemann: Leaders at Vuelta. Lövqvist to ride the tour as well
Cav and Eisel: Sprinters in tour
Hagen,Ciolek: Sprinters in Giro
Greipel: Peak for Deutschland tour
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So everyone: tell us about your accomplishments!!!

Its a good idea for a thread, Zimao
I had been playing with Caisse d'Epargne (for my story), but I got distracted by Uni work and now we're so close to PCM08 I don't know if there'll be time to go back to it. So, instead of telling you what team I'm playing with currently, I'll share my plans for my team when PCM08 is released
-------------------------------
Team: Liquigas
I like this team a whole lot more now that Di Luca isn't in it
Pellizotti: Giro, overall
Nibali: Tour, aiming for the white jersey
Bennati: Giro and the Tour
Pozzato: Spring classics - although I don't like him so I'll sell at the end of season
My choice of team isn't definite at this stage though |

I have a team with all the young talents in the game on my team. We have won a lot of races but haven't played a GT yet.

I'm Skil Shimano in 2009.
I got Boom and Vermeltfoort of Rabo CT and Vermeltfoort is really awesome he can do both cobbles and sprint, like Boonen, but not as good yet I did manage to win Kuurne though, which is brilliant for Skil B) |

Well I'm playing a pcm06 career with stanosbase, but going to post here anyway.
Playing with Astana, and so far I have won Paris-Nice with Contador, Tirreno-Adriatico with Horner, Romandie with Klöden. At the moment I'm one week into the giro, just after the first mountain stage, Contador and Klöden are within 30 sec from Rujano and Piepoli after it. |

I currently play with Team Barloworld.. I won Tour de Quatar with Robert Hunter .. Now I'm playing to achieve a season goal.. A top 3 in: Intaka Tech World's View Challenge.. That shouldn't be too difficult .. my sprinter for that race is Baden Cooke
I have signed Sergio Henao from Colombia and Duarte from colombia too .. Two talented riders |

i had a career with Agritubel but then it went crazy, so now i have a small career with astana, but ive only played up to the australian national champs and then left it. I think ill leave it now untill 2008, where im considering these contendors:
-Rabobank
-Caisse
-Domniquingueni (the one simoni rides for :lol
it will be a tough choice!!!

Playing with the danish team Designa Køkken.
About half way into march, and it's going great. Mainly doing small races/tours (2.2, 1.2) but dominating them. My sponsors are not happy, however, which is pretty annoying. Probabply on a .75 win rate, but my sponsors confidence level is at poor...
Anyway, I'm preparing for two sponsor goals that are coming up shortly; Nokere - Koerse and Tour de Normandie. Hope to get some good results in order to please my sponsors.
A twist in this save is that I'm only allowed to use danish riders. This will make it interesting as well as hard. |

I have a career in 2010 with CSC, using the official release database and I have a nineteen year old portuguese rider called Prazeres, who already has a mountain stat of 82 and a time trial stat of 77. Easily the best stage racer in the game at nineteen B) |

I'm now in 2008 playing with Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni-Androni Giocattoli, the best climbers in my team peak for the mountain stages in the Giro including Simoni competing for the GC. Played the first week till now and after the TTT I won the 2nd stage with Nardello out of a breakaway. This brought him into pink, now the mountains come.. gonna be interesting |

To be honest I don't think he has won much of any note so far, because Ag2R had him in the previous year where he ws very inactive, and since I bought him at the beginning of the year I have just been building up his experience to the top level. However, he will be leading my team in the Vuelta fairly soon. It will definately be the best chance I've ever had to win a grand tour. |

I'm playing with High Road. You can read about it in my story thread. I've posted up through the middle of the Tour (finished the tour in my game, but neet to transfer screen shots).
So far, Michael Rogers finished 3rd in the Giro and Kirchen is riding the Tour. Gerdeman will be leading the Vuelta. Hincapie got a 4th, 2nd and 1st in the big three cobbled races, and took a suprise second in Milano-San Remo. A lot of the young guys I signed have turned into incredible riders (Ulissi and Boassen Hagen both blossomed in the Giro). |
