CSC said earlier this year that they will not be renewing their sponsorship contract, and the consensus was that the team would still exist under a different name and sponsor. Has anyone heard anything recently about that?

Maybe Riis cycling? CSC is my favourite team  I think Bjarne Riis will find a good sponsor till the next season.

Its a great shame that CSC are going. They have been a great force in the cycling word for ages. Hope they can find a good sponser. If they want to stick with American computer parts, maybe Microsoft  Is that right? |

My guess is that Riis will do what Stapelton did this year, and have 3-4 sponsors sign with smaller amounts of money to give the team the same funds as they had last year, and then give the team a nickname, just like Team High Road. |

Rabobank might be closing down too, if the Rasmussen-trial reveals they really did know where he was Rabobank has said they will close both teams immediately... This is bad, Rasmussen might become the most destructive single doped rider ever.. I hate him. |

CSC isn't going to close down, no one expects Riis to not be able to find a sponsor, the question was whether or not anyone had heard about who the sponsor(s) is going to be |

Hmm they (Riis) said that they would've found a new sponsor before TdF .. Hm that's very soon .. He may already have found this new sponsor .. Who knows but I really hope CSC won't close down.. And rabobank too .. It's two of the biggest team in the cycling world |

I wouldn't be surprised if Riis ended up without a sponsor. Ever since it was revealed that CSC wouldn't renew its contract, Riis has said it would be very possible to sign with a new sponsor. Afterwards, his interviews have given a more "blurry" picture, getting more and more insecure compared to his first statement. |

Breaking news: According to several rumours, Bjarne Riis will announce that he has found a new sponsor. It's supposedly Saxo Bank, a Danish investment bank. There's a press conference later today in Copenhagen. |
