2.0 processor
larrydutch
Hello,

I'm an mac user & recently I found a Medion laptop to play PCM. The problem is that it has a 2.0 processor & the requirements of the game says you should have minimum 2.7. So I won't be able to play the game on my Windows pc?

Hi man. The processors in a laptop are all kind of "trash", so its not the most important think for a Game. The graphic card is the main component for a game to have better graphics/performance.

Which card does the laptop have?

I play PCM 17 on High display settings with I3 5005U, GeForce 920M, 8 GB Ram.

I would ask all the people from the Balkan to contact me so that we can create our community.

First of all, a Processor is important for gaming. It depends on the game though. PCM is very poorly optimized, so you basically need a good PC, with a well-clocking CPU and a mid-class GPU. On top of that 8GB of RAM would be great.

Basically you want to look for an i5, a GTX 1050 or higher, 8gb of RAM and possibly Windows 10.
Don't just look out for high clock speeds and many cores, as f.e. the AMD FX-Series(Bulldozer) has up to 8 cores with up to 4.4ghz, but they still can't keep up with a normal i5 with 4 cores and 3,4 ghz.
I would wait for AMD Vega to drop and then buy a PC, since the prices will drop massively. Not so massive for entry level cards, but still.
