It used to be just observe a rider and you get notifications about him. But now when I press observe it's like nothing happens? I can't see any notifications or see that riders form for the day etc. Nothing indicates that my rider is observing anyone, but maybe I'm doing things wrong. Also what triggers the button to observe, when and who can you observe?
