This will be my 3rd cycling experience (first two in tour of turkey). This time it is a big one, tomorrow my flight is to Dusseldorf, nearly a week stay in the city! For, the tour de france! You guys here may have experiences watching a TDF stage or grand depart live! Just write your experiences and tell me suggestions about anything really! It really helps me! I really want to get signatures or photos (which i think i will be empty handed). Any tips really helps me! I want to watch the presentation as well?
Its gonna rain the whole week 
Well, if anybodys coming also to Dusseldorf! just write it down! I would like to meet and have a drink with you guys over the weekend!

Cool, enjoy. The exciting thing is probably all the tour buzz around it, so be sure to get most out of it. The race is past pretty quick so best treasure those moments.
I wanted to go with my ex-gf back when it was announced since it was close by to her parents placebut since then we split up and well..
I don't really have tips for you. If you want autographs get there early but I'm sure you'll do that anyway. The teams pass through really quick, especially when there's no gradient, so be sure to enjoy the moments and don't spend too much time photographing when they pass you by. I always feel like I miss half of the race behind the camera.

True, I'm lucky its the first stage, a time trial, in rainy conditions, so i have a chance to see the race for 3-4 hours!

Amazing experience, even tho theracing hadn't started yet! Meet all the top guys, Voeckler, Froome, Evans, Quintana, Sagan and my favourite Valverde as well, was really easy, just needed their hotels, we were the only one who did something like that, and i feel really lucky!

@sutty68 , was an amazing experience, once in a lifetime!
All i needed was to check ALL the social media accounts of ALL riders and team to find clues or locations about their hotels. Went the noted 11 teams hotels in the presentation day (like morning) they were in a casual mood, no one refused to take a photo with me and thanks to my father who took the pictures . If you are planning to meet cyclists do it before raceday, in the hotels, much easier just need that bit of luck .
The experience was 9.9/10 and that 0.1 because valverde fell at a stage i am watching live... And the silence when Tony Martin couldnt beat Thomas' time was so sad for the germans, they were in a party mode when the intermediate check was there!!
