Decision Time; Help needed

Hi All,

Some may remember me from many moons ago; played PCM 12 & 13..however I have not ventured into buying another one since mainly due to life commitments and a lack of time.

However I am now keen to get back into the swing of things with PCM; having looked through many posts on here my mind is all kinds of muddled as to which one to purchase..

Seems many were not impressed with last years attempt..some go back as far as 2012 in terms of what they deem to be the last good game in the series..

I want to get one of the games which features the Be A Pro mode as this is something I am very keen on in not just this but all sports games..

So question is...should I go for PCM2015....PCM2016...OR do i wait until Thursday and purchase 2017..

I am reluctant on the latter as often the game releases with bugs galore at least for the first months till major patches come along.

Also..does 2015 include the steam workshop...this seems a great idea...how does it actually hold up in practice?

Wow....has the game got that bad no one is even willing to recommend one lol!

PCM 15 does not include the workshop which is a neat new feature on 16. It's a pain for DB editors but you can easily find new DBs on the Workshop.

I personally prefer 15 because the AI is slightly better and the 2015 EP is brilliant.

PCM 17 won't be much different I don't think, thus I'd wait for 17 if you want a game in the style of 16 with the Workshop features.

I have used edited DB's on PCM12 & 13 so as long as people are still doing them and they are accessible through other means then updating PCM15 without the workshop isn't a big issue..

Lots of people have complained about the AI on 16...is their a vast difference between the AI on 15 & 16? If so it puts me off even going for 17 because by all accounts it isn't looking like much emphasis has been put into changing that.
