I find it few years ago..maybe because myself more and more enjoying more to ride MTB races , tracks.
Olympic format himself is great one to watch. Riding bike full gas 1,5h.
First stage at Nove Mesto is done, at redbull tv you can always rewatch races when you are interested.
About season:
Nino seems to be strong as usual.
Absalon on he's last season was using he's diesel again..managed to finish 3rd. thanks to last lap.
Marrotte, Sarrou, Tampier. seems to be same level. Great fight between them ..who will be alfa french rider after Absolon retirement.
Great surprise was Van Der Poel..yeaah same cyclocross ace..who did seems to enjoy a racing and managed to finish great. 8th.
Next stage at germany. Albstad.more for climbers race. 28.05
he was amazing. Only Nino managed to beat him..but with big effort. I dont have seen a long time Nino on the limit like that.
Also Mathieu meet a tree a one descent that slowed him down..and helped nino escape. Amazing talent that guy..who can do anything with any bike.
If we sometime think that road bike commentators don't understand big picture then it's even worse at MTB.
For example, they just keep saying Neff is best descender..yes she's good ..same time it's obvious that Indergrand is lot faster.
Like at Nove Mesto wondering how Belomoina lost 3rd. ..damn she's climber and always will lose lot of times at descent.
Langewald same time is one of worse descender..they also forget that one how she lost a title at Andorra last year. Just could not handle hard track.
