Hey, not sure whether to put it here or in the Expansion Pack support thread.
So I've played nearly a whole season in career mode with almost all races in 3D without any problem so far (playing with EP 2016 and edited some transfers before the career -> thus playing with Bora-Hansgrohe).
Now, when I want to play the World Championships in 3D mode with my national team Slovakia, instead of loading the game, it directly switches to the result, where my national team riders are not listed in the result. I've tried to simulate the race, same problem. It happens in both the TT (1 starting rider) and the RR (3 starting riders).
I've found this thread dealing with the same problem. I tried to fix it in the same way with Lachi's editor -> DYN_national_team, changing 'fkIDrace' from 0 to 248/WC TT (like all the other national teams). Now, the 3D race actually starts - but without my riders (I again tried for both the TT and the RR), so I could just watch the race. Quite frustrating for the maybe most important race of the season with Sagan.
Can anyone help? What might I have overseen?
I'm attaching two saves:
a) career_15 / the day of the WC TT (not edited)
b) career_18 / the day of the WC RR after having simulated the TT (without my rider) and now with the edited DYN_national_team (so one could directly start the 3D race ingame, but still without my riders)
How does the selection for the worlds look? In the editor, what does the ID_Race column look like in DYN_Cyclist? Is your team in DYN_Team_Races (race IDs 175&248)
The selection for the worlds looks quite normal actually. I've pre-selected P. Velits and M. Velits for the WC TT (1 participant) and P. Sagan/Baska/Kolar/J. Sagan for the WC RR (3 participants). When I want to finally select for the WC TT 3D Race on the race day only M. Velits shows up (I found out through the editor that P. Velits is listed as active in the Tour of China II, so he can't race), but as Slovakia only has one starting place, I can just select M. Velits ('You must enter between 1 and 1 riders' ) and press the 3D Race button. (He also shows up in the Briefing tab, it just looks a bit strange: "M. Velits, , " )
As I said, what then happens depends: without any edit, the 3D Race isn't even loaded, but the game directly proceeds to the result (without Velits). If I edit DYN_national_team/fkIDrace before, the 3D Race starts, but without Velits taking part.
For the RR it's more or less the same: all four show up for the final selection on race day, I can select P. Sagan/Baska/Kolar out of them for the race, they even show up in the Briefing tab as the riders for Slovakia (if I edited DYN_national_team/fkIDrace before), the 3D Race starts, no Slovakia riders in it.
I've also checked the columns you mentioned. In both cases (TT and RR) the ID_Race column says 248/WCTT or 175/WCRR respectively for the selected riders mentioned above.
My team is also in DYN_Team_Race for both races. fkIDinvitation state is listed as 'Not_interested' though, whereas all the other teams are 'Subscribed'. But maybe this just changes with the final selection? Because I've just edited the columns to 'Subscribed' and then tried starting the 3D Race, but with the same result: 3D Race starting, but no Slovakia riders in it.
