Final stage and it`s a hilly one. Seeing the tiny gap between Geschke and Tiernan-Locke by only 2s and also Yates just 17s down and lots of other close fights, this could become interesting here.
The stage itself does not look too tough but two late bumps are surely opportunites to attack.

7 riders in the break. Last stage of a race, so what are the chances to win here? Surely quite big if you join the breakaway on such day.

While last is 3rd in the KoM competition, the jersey is sealed for Magnusson and hence his team mate as Muhlberger as 2nd isn`t in the group.

Lots of New Balance riders in front now with WCC behind them. Clearly Taborre and Rodriguez Galindo feel good today and want to improve their GC position. At the moment they are 8th and 4th.

The penultimate climb is the Cat.4 and here gap to the breakaway is down to 1min!

While the "helpers" couldn`t use the climb to narrow the gap, the GC riders themselves did so by attacking.

Taborre was the first to attack. Behind him immediately Geschke but also Tiernan-Locke.
Then Othman as stronger Sauber rider today as also Yates and Kinney!

MOL with Hategeka as their best and Rodriguez Galindo with a small gap following.

Only 2,6km left and it`s the way up the last climb already.

Bole and Hugentobler might have been surprised by that move but also attacked and have a similar gap as the duo in front of them.

Gunman, Rocchetti, Dahlberg others to go out of the peloton which is led by MOL now as neither Favilli nor Michely followed. Only missing from top15.

The first group joins the break just on top. So while Geschke might have hoped to let the bonus seconds for those, he should be fastest sprinter anyway and hence the tiny gap might not be his biggest fear. Still it`s a danger.

32s for the first chasing duo. Bole and Hugentobler just like Gunman and Rocchetti a bit later.

Being dropped early was Agnoli due to a bad timed puncture. He will lose his top30 spot.

Fast finish here with a mix of break and GC riders. 900m left.

Taborre already in 2nd position. Geschke in 5th. Othman in 6th. The others breakaway riders.

Yates a bit too far behind while good news for Hategeka and Galindo. Both made contact just before the sprint.

Taborre clearly stronger than the former breakaway riders. Geschke coming fast though.

In hte background Bole/Hugentoblr just pass the Flamme Rouge and might lose a bit today.

The downhill sprint clearly was in favour of Taborre as Geschke couldn`t play his normal sprint advantage as on flat finishes. Well done to him and the big win.

Gechke comes in as 2nd ahead of Forcellini and his team mate Othman. Hence Geschke remains in the GC lead 14s ahead of Tiernan-Locke, then Yates and Galindo with Taborre moving up to 5th.

Hugentobler and Bole come in 34s later with Rocchetti and Gunman being rewarded the same time. GC wise Hugentobler down to 7th behind Kinney as well, then Bole, Rocchetti and Gunman with Othman just outside the top10.

Michely to lead in the next group. MOL with Favilli as well here losing the top10. 12,13,15 their GCs.

Geschke also remains in the point jersey of course after today but the team ranking got a change. Due to MOL and Sauber having a rider in the break and hence 2 in the front group today, they go past Podium Ambition, who drop to 3rd. MOL could have won if Favilli/Michely had done better but this way Sauber gets it.
