well it depends where you want to watch the stage
If you mean monte pora itself i would probably say that as there is only one road up to the top you will have to park at the town below, its called breno or something and my guess is you'll have to walk to the spot you would like to watch.
As its one of the final climbs of the giro i would guess there will be quite a few people there. Alot of the climb is through a forrest aswell so the viewing area's there won't be brialliant unless you find a nice straight bit of road.
As you get nearer to the top there is less trees so it may be a better viewing area for you.
From my experience of the giro (tre cime last year) Its better to get to the base of the climb fairly early so you have plenty of time to walk up and find a spot you like
Once your there watch out for some cheeky people who try to walk up just before the race comes through and stand in front of you
Hope this helps

If the stage is on a weekend, god help you. it's going to be a jungle out there.
Go very early, I mean get there a few hours before the riders and be prepared to yell at A LOT of people who come there a few minutes before the riders and think they have the right to stand in "your" spot.
Whatever you do, don't touch the riders, don't throw water at them, etc.
Good luck and have fun

Last year, I was in Val di Fiemme, for bicycling! I rode for example the Stelvio pass, and Marcialonga cycling. One day I could choose: Look at a Giro stage, or just cycle a trip in the valleys.. And I choosed the last one! I'm so angry at myself! But next year I shall look at a Tour stage |

I'd love to ride the Stelvio. There's been some incredible performances on there, and it'd be amazing to ride those same roads. How was it? |
