Young sprinter Bruno Neves fell today during a race and died.
Poor Bruno. He had several good places in sprints at races such as the Tour de l'Avenir and Volta a Portugal, including the Points jersey at the Tour de l'Avenir and a stage of the Volta a Portugal, plus several smaller portuguese races in the national calendar.
He was also one of my favorite riders and currently led the standings of the Portuguese Cup

well, I would've made the same post for any dead rider, but it's true that he was one of my favorites. He was a decent sprinter too.

I'm in shock... I looked up to him... I really did... I know some of his friends and they always had nothing but nice things to say about him... Always happy... Always cheerful... A true friend... And now he's gone... :cry:
