The route is hilly but the rating is flat, and there are only 8 teams.

Naran, Hampton, Faria, Harvey and Salamanca went in a breakaway.

But they were caught so with 95km to go, Dall'Antonia, Gaywood and Cummings ernt on the attack

The lead increased to 4 minutes by 30km to go, as Gaywood was dropped by his two companions

Mazzanti attacked from the peleton with 18km to go

Sulzberger counter-attacked Mazzanti and moved past him

Before Mazzanti attacked again to move back infront of the Aussie

Mazzanti and Sulzberger individually rode towards Gaywood, but Cummings and Dall'Antonia still had a large gap.

Cummings led the sprint, but Dall'Antonia is a stronger sprinter and moved past

Sulzberger is sprinting very well though and moves past Cummings

But Sulzberger has no chance of catching Dall'Antonia, who wins the race

Sulzberger does take 2nd though, while Cummings just holds off Mazzanti for 3rd.

Mahdi Sohrabi was the best sprinter from the peleton as he took 5th ahead of Gaywood. Infact, if it were not for the attackers it would have been a Gatorade 1-2. They should really have chased them down. Allan Davis was surprisingly down in 13th.
