Last stage of this tour is another flat stage which is very well-suited for sprinters and breakaways. Everything seems settled. Danielson wins overall, Dyadichkin takes the mountain jersey, Fed-Ex seems secure of the teams' classification, and the points jersey looks to go to Sonnery - however, that may change today. Time will tell.

The TV-break to today was Murgoitio (Benfica), Colby (Slipstream) and Belmokhtar (Gatorade B) with a certain Pat McQuaid behind them. None of them is any threat to anything. Question is -- are the sprinters ready to let them go?
The answer is 'no'. Fed-Ex has a certain sprinter named Sebastian Siedler, and they want him to win the Points Classification. Therefore, they - with help from White Bear Steyr - slowly started to reel in the break, they quickly caught McQuaid, and with 50 km. to go they had a gap of 4 minutes. It'd be very surprising if they could manage to keep the peloton away.

However, when the steam was really put up and all the sprinter teams helped, the breakaway was doomed to death, and with 15 km. to go it was over. The teams could start organizing. Here we have them before the start of the sprint.
Once again, Bertagnolli is leading out for Gajek who has Sonnery, Gatto and Siedler behind him. In the 2nd sprint train, it's Eibegger leading ahead of Costa, Lima, Wadecki and Faria.

Sonnery takes over from Gajek with 1300 meters to go. Gatto is in his wheel and Siedler hangs on to Gatto's.

Sonnery is still leading! Gatto is fighting with Gajek, and Siedler is coming from behind now. Sonnery has to crash, though, if he is to lose his jersey. But what about the victory?
