Did any of you play "Tour de France" for PS2? In that game you would find a very crazy stage which was downhill all the way. Well, that's what we have in the program on this stage too. Most of the stage is just down, down and down. Then it flattens out on the last 40 km., and that's it -- a perfect stage for the sprinters.

As expected, nothing happened for the first 130 km. In fact, nothing happened for the entire stage. Velo won the first intermediate sprint, Eibegger the 2nd and Siedler the third. Therefore, we can just as well skip forward to the last 6-5 km. Here we have the P just before the sprint.
Bertagnolli leads out for Gajek. Behind him we have Bacquet, De Fauw Bahati. In the 2nd sprint train, it's Velo leading out for Siedler. We also have Mugerli and Eibegger up front along with Sonnery.

It's Siedler leading, Gajek behind him, followed by Bacquet, De Fauw and Bahati.

Less than 1000 meters to go. It's still Siedler, Gajek, but now we have Sonnery on the far right near the camera. Lima of the Benfica team is also getting closer.

But it's Sonnery taking the victory despite Siedler leading the most of the way!Gajek takes third ahead of Bacquet.
